Refund & Cancellation Policy

Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Please note that though your cancellation will prevent future renewals, it will not refund payments that have already been processed.

Refunds

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in limited situations, including:

Duplicate charges
Billing errors
Orders that cannot be fulfilled due to an error on our part

Damaged Mail

If your mail arrives significantly damaged, please email us within 14 days of delivery. If possible, please include photos so we can evaluate the issue.

Lost Mail

Unfortunately, once mail has been accepted by the postal service, delivery is outside our control. If your mail has not arrived after a reasonable amount of time, please contact us. We will do our best to get your mail shipped to you.

Incorrect Addresses

We cannot issue refunds for mail sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please double-check the shipping address you provide and keep your account information up to date before each billing cycle.

Shipping Policy

Processing

Monthly mail is shipped in the first week of each month. If you subscribe after the monthly cutoff date (usually the last day of the month), your first envelope may begin with the following month's edition. (For example, if you sign up after November 30th, you will receive the January issue.)

Shipping Methods

Orders are mailed through USPS using traditional postage stamps and cannot be tracked using tracking numbers.

International orders may be transferred to your local postal service once they arrive in your destination country.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery times vary depending on your location. The Writers’ Burrow cannot guarantee delivery dates.

Typical estimates (from when mail is accepted by the postal service to delivery at shipping destination) are:

United States: 3–10 business days

Elsewhere: 2–6 weeks

Once mail is accepted by the postal service, delays may be caused by events outside of our control such as—but not limited to—weather, holidays, and postal service disruptions. See “Lost Mail” in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Customs & Import Fees

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by their country.
